Venture Michigan Fund Makes First Allocations

MICHIGAN -- Venture Michigan Fund has made its first venture capital allocations according to a report in VentureWire.

The state-funded initiative has committed undisclosed amounts to three venture capital firms who are charged with investing in Michigan-based start up companies.

The firms are Michigan-based Arboretum Ventures, Nth Power based in San Francisco and Venture Investors, LLC, a Madison, WI-based seed and early stage firm.
